Colors on the web are coded using a combination of 6 numbers & letters between A & F. For example, the code for black is #000000 and the code for white is #ffffff. This format for colors is called the hexadecimal code or just hex code. I am telling you this because I want to tell you about an excellent tool available online for figuring out the hex-code for any color you’d like.
ColorPicker.com is a tool that allows you to find a color you’d like and then figure out what the hex-code for it is. Here’s what it looks like:
When will you need ColorPicker.com?
It will be very useful for you when you’re communicating with your web designer. If you want them to use a very specific color, you’re much more likely to get exactly that color if you can provide them the hex-code for that color.
